General Information
The 1936 catalogue -- now at 48 pages -- represented an expansion by four
pages over the 1935 catalogue.
Looking back, the cover of the 1936 catalogue provides a clue of a future
offering from Lionel. Pictured above the Lionel block letters are two
steam locomotives. However, the background is the most interesting part
of the cover. It is the blueprints of their most infamous steam locomotive
-- the scale Hudson -- which will be available the following year.
