Consumer Catalogue Pictured Above

General Information

The 1938 consumer catalogue contained 52 pages -- equaling the largest printed catalogues during the 1930's with the 1931, 1932, 1933 and 1939 catalogues.

The cover has large 'Lionel' letters with a locomotives emerging from the bottom of each letter. Additionally, there is a Lionel airplane doing a loop in the top right corner of the catalogue cover.

Lionel provided a fold-out in the center for different track layouts. This fold-out is usually torn or damaged. Catalogues with complete and intact fold-out sections are difficult to locate.
