General Information
1944 was the second of two years in which Lionel did not produce a
consumer catalogue due to World War II. As in 1943, Lionel did print
a railroading handbook.
These handbooks were printed to keep consumers interested in Lionel
trains during the non-train production years of WW II. This is the only
known Lionel publication for 1944.
