General Information
1946 was the first year of full postwar train production by Lionel.
Although Lionel did publish a 1945 newspaper ad as a catalogue,
1946 represents the first year an actual postwar catalogue was printed.
In addition to it's annual catalogue, Lionel printed several other
annual publications for the year -- many of which are difficult
to locate in collectable condition.
