Consumer Catalogue Pictured Above

General Information

The 1952 consumer catalogue continued to introduce new trains to the Lionel product line. The impressive extruded aluminum passenger cars made their debut in 1952 along with classic diesels such as the 2345 Western Pacific F-3, 2032 Erie Alco and NW-2 switchers wearing the AT & SF and C & O livery.

On the paper front, Lionel continued to produce booklets, posters, catalogues and much more. The Official Book Of Rules for modeling railroading was available, as well as fold-out posters and distributor catalogues. For the advanced collector, these items have become a staple in every collection.
