General Information
For 1955, Lionel offered a fascinating assortment of trains and accessories
in their consumer catalogue. With over 20 different sets illustrated, Lionel
had an affordable train every budget.
Additionally, 1955 saw the introduction of several fresh and novel Lionel
trains. Items such as the 60 trolley, 3662 semi-scale milk car,
6517 prototypical caboose and the infamous 6414 auto loader were just a
few of the innovative trains for this year.
