General Information
At first glance, the 1965 Lionel consumer catalogue is noticeabley larger compared to its 1964 counterpart. However, when reviewing just the trains within each catalogue, the presentation of trains decreased from 23 to 21 pages.
Even with a slightly scaled-down product line, the 1965 offerings are still respectable. With multiple steamers, diesels and a large assortment of freight and accessories, 1965 still had much to offer the O gauge hobbiest.
