General Information
As most collectors know, 1952 marks the year
magne-traction was eliminaged as a feature on
the entire Lionel steamer fleet. Due to this
sweeping change, all locomotive instruction
sheets needed to be updated -- reflecting
the removal of this feature.
Although several different 1951 instructions
were updated to reflect the elimination of
magne-traction, the 2025-5 instructions were
specifically written to be included only with
Lionel's K-4 steamers: the 675 and 2025.

Instruction Sheet Details & Variations
It is interesting to note, of the three 2025-5
instuctions, only one does not include the '2025'
locomotive number in the title. Therefore, if you
are looking to find the correct instructions for
a 1952 675 K-4 Pacific steam locomotive, the
correct instructions are those dated 2/52.
