General Information

Lionel's 671-135 was one of the first all-new instruction sheets created and printed in the postwar era. It highlighted Lionel's new locomotive -- the turbine -- as well as their brand new and innovative feature -- a smoking steam locomotive.

Lionel printed three unique 671 instruction sheets. Each of these instructions are generic and intended to be used with several locomotives. The two hardest instructions to locate are the 671-135 from January 1946 and the 671-210 dated 1/48 with the '2026' stamped on the instruction page after it was printed.

By using the detailed information on this web page, you will be able to identify the correct instruction sheet for your steam locomotive.
